Wasa Future Festival was held this year from Monday to Saturday (August 10–15) in the Bock’s area of Vaasa. This year, the events again achieved a significant number of concrete actions in education, healthcare, forestry, logistics, research, and the energy and data sectors. The actions are particularly relevant to the Ostrobothnia region, and we will continue to monitor their development in the future. For example, the WIC Science Channel will address the most significant technology issues of the festival throughout the year.
Wasa Future Festival 2026 reached a record 7,000 participants, which is an increase of approximately 56 percent from the previous year. Over 4,000 participants attended the events on site. In addition, over 3,000 viewers watched the streams online.
